About
At the heart of Rajasthan’s desert communities, we are more than an NGO — we are a movement of women weaving dignity, independence, and tradition into every stitch.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower rural women seamstresses to transform their craft into sustainable livelihoods. From Barmer’s remote villages to vibrant textile hubs, we work with women who often have few opportunities to support their families’ education, healthcare, and daily needs.
So far, we’ve trained over 200 women in textile production, with 80 seamstresses already working in 8 fully equipped centres. Together, they create beautiful, high-quality handicrafts — from Rajasthani dresses and dupattas to bags, cushion covers, and table linens — using both traditional techniques and recycled materials.
But our work goes beyond training. We ensure fair wages, market access, and business skills that allow women to grow from artisans into entrepreneurs. Through self-help groups and cooperatives, women are not just earning income — they are raising their voices, improving their status, and shaping the future of their communities.
Our Vision
By 2025, we aim to build a women-led, women-owned textile cooperative that supports at least 500 artisans directly and impacts more than 10,000 lives across Rajasthan. With the right skills, tools, and market access, these women will create a sustainable social enterprise that preserves India’s handicraft heritage while fueling rural women’s empowerment.
Every handcrafted item tells two stories: one of Rajasthan’s timeless tradition, and another of a woman building a brighter future for her family.
Together, we are stitching empowerment into every thread.
